Visiting Lodge Members[]

Right now, there are quite a few relatively minor segments featuring Red visiting the "home site" of various Lodge members, like Buzz at his plane, Bob at the golf course, etc. With the exception of Dalton's House (which seems to have a broader scope than just Red visiting Dalton), I think we could probably get away with condensing all of these into a single article and referring to the visits by the name of the character in the transcripts. For example:

===Visit with Bob Stuyvesant===
===Visit with Winston Rothschild===

The article would list all of the visits of this type except for Dalton's house. (This article could account for visits to the Everything Store, though!)

This will make cataloging this information easier, methinks. Any thoughts? — KieferSkunk (talk) — 23:43, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

I'll go back and edit the scripts in which these scenes are contained. MHarrington 23:49, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
I went ahead and implemented what I was considering - Red's Visits with Possum Lodge Members (shortcut: VISITS). This makes it easier to catalog all of these visits and not necessarily have to worry about making new pages each time we come up with a new permutation. (There were a few one-shot visits that wouldn't really deserve their own articles, like Jack the Hermit, and a few "visits" with regular characters in unusual settings.)
One thing this means, though, is that we don't have location-specific articles anymore about each character (like Dougie Franklin's monster truck). But we can make up for that by making sure that information is clearly described in the article about the character. For example, I added a whole bunch of production-note info and in-universe info about Ranger Gord's watchtower to his character article so that we don't lose the info.
So in episode articles, we can just list the Red's Visits with Possum Lodge Members segment the first time it occurs in the Segments list, and the transcript sections would read "Visit with Character 1", "Visit with Character 2", etc. like above. Make sense? — KieferSkunk (talk) — 21:20, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Oh, and if there is specific notability about a particular character's primary location (like the Humphries Everything Store), it still can have its own article, and we can still separately catalog segments that take place at those locations. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 21:22, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
